Nachdem wir lange Zeit überwiegend WordCamps im Barcamp-Format in Deutschland hatten, möchten wir in Stuttgart wieder ein „klassisches“ WordCamp mit kuriertem Programm veranstalten. Dafür suchen wir ab sofort Vortragende, die am 9. und 10. November 2019 in interessanten Vorträgen ihr Wissen und ihre Erfahrung mit dem Publikum teilen.
After having mostly Barcamp-style WordCamps in Germany for a long time, we would like to organize a “classic” WordCamp with a curated program in Stuttgart. Therefore, we are looking for speakers who will share their knowledge and experience with the audience in interesting sessions on November 9th and 10th, 2019.
Grundsätzlich sind wir an allen Themen interessiert, solange sie mit WordPress zu tun haben, oder zumindest für ein WordPress-Publikum relevant sind und weder unseren Code of Conduct noch die Bestimmungen der GPL verletzen.
We are interested in all topics as long as they are related to WordPress, or at least relevant for a WordPress audience, and do not violate our Code of Conduct or the provisions of the GPL.

Format
Standard Talk: 30 Minuten Vortrag, gefolgt von 5 Minuten Zeit für Fragen am Ende.
Lightning Talk: 10 Minuten, ohne Fragerunde.
Format

Sprache
Wir akzeptieren Vorträge sowohl auf Deutsch als auch auf Englisch. Beide Sprachen sollen während des gesamten Vortragsprogramms durchgehend angeboten werden, um auch Teilnehmenden, deren Muttersprache nicht Deutsch ist, die Teilnahme zu erleichtern.
Language
We accept talks in both German and English. Both languages will be offered throughout the lecture program to make it easier for participants whose native language is not German to feel welcome.
Abgabe-Deadline
Wir schließen das Abgabeformular am 9. Oktober 2019 um 23:59 Uhr. Danach können keine weiteren Vorträge mehr eingereicht werden. Anschließend versenden wir nach einigen Tagen alle Zu- und Absagen.
Submission Deadline
We will close the submission form on 9th October, 2019 at 23:59 pm (CEST). So please make sure to submit your proposal by then. After some days we will send out all acceptances and cancellations.
Sollte ich mir ein Ticket kaufen?
Für alle Speaker haben wir ein Kontingent kostenfreier Tickets.
Für alle, die sich im Rahmen des Call for Speakers beworben haben, aber nicht genommen wurden, reservieren wir Tickets. Diese können anschließend von denjenigen gekauft werden können, die nicht in den Genuss der Freitickets kommen, weil ihre Vorträge nicht angenommen wurden – auch wenn alle anderen Tickets schon ausverkauft sein sollten.
Should I buy a ticket?
For all speakers, there will be free tickets available.
We reserve tickets for all those who applied for the Call for Speakers but were not accepted. They can then be bought by those who do not benefit from the free tickets because their presentations have not been accepted – even if all other tickets are already sold out.

Du musst kein Profidesigner sein und nicht schon seit 20 Jahren als Programmiererin arbeiten, um für das WordCamp Stuttgart ein Thema einzureichen. Wenn du dein Thema überzeugend präsentieren kannst, bist du hier genau richtig.
